Before you choose a contract do your homework...just as Debbi Blesi. When the storms came through Coon Rapids, she suspected that she needed a new roof and when she was referred to a roofer she thought that the hard part was over. They fix the roof, the insurance company pays for it and life goes on. Unfortunately, that's not what happened. The roofer that she chose made some critical errors and before the roof was able to be completed, rain POURED into her living room. When Debbi confronted her roofer, it was only then that she found out he wasn't insured...not only that, his business folded up and he disappeared!

Now she had two problems. A leaky roof and a water damaged interior. Starting from scratch Debbi called another contractor to fix the issues. This time she was SURE that he had insurance. The contractor started off well but it wasn't long before problems arose. Shoddy workmanship followed by broken promises and then a disconnected phone number and now Debbi was out $10,000 in insurance money and still had over $20,000 in repairs that needed to be done.

Lennox Builders has been in the industry for over 40 years and unfortunately, this isn't the first time they have seen this kind of story. Clients looking to save some money or just trusting a little too much often get burned in the long run. So when Debbi called, we could hear the frustration in her voice and wanted to help.

With the cooperation of some of it's subcontractors, Sean Lennox agreed to get Debbi's house back to the way it should be...and do it for whatever insurance money Debbi had left. Although time consuming and challenging, projects like this are a big part of the Lennox Builders mission. Giving back to the community is important to the Lennox family...as well as demostrating that not ALL contractors are in the business for the money.
