The Pre-Construction Open House will take place on Sunday  May 2nd from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. The contractor Lennox Builders and realtor Michael Hunstad from Counselor Realty, as well as city staff will be on hand to describe the plans and answer any questions regarding the planned renovation of this home. The first Home for Generations home had been a small Orrin Thompson rambler, so being able to demonstrate to homeowners how they can renovate, update and re-invent their 1970s and 1980s split entry homes will be a great opportunity. Basic ideas right now include creating a master suite on the upper level, removing a wall in the living area to create an open great room, and enhancing the entry way to include more space and a main level laundry room.
